Volleyball Recap: Western Takes a Loss

Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shawnee Golden Eagles. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Western's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shawnee, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Western will head out on the road to square off against Moore at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shawnee, they will venture away from home to face off against Southern at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
