Softball Recap: Homewood-Flossmoor Comes Up Short

Homewood-Flossmoor and Lincoln-Way Central squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Homewood-Flossmoor had to settle for second. They came up short against the Knights, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 9-0 loss on May 9th.

Homewood-Flossmoor has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season. As for Lincoln-Way Central, the win was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record up to 33-1.

As of now, neither Homewood-Flossmoor nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
