Softball Recap: Apollo Wins Going Away Against Browne

Apollo lost to Browne back in March of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Hawks put the hurt on the Bruins with a sharp 22-6 victory. That's two games straight that the Hawks have won by exactly 16 runs.

Fernanda Barrera Prudente was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with three stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubry Gomez, who went 1-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.

Apollo's record is now 2-0. As for Browne, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Apollo will be playing at home against Dobson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Browne, they are taking a road trip to face off against Copper Canyon at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
