Volleyball Recap: Palmer Takes a Loss

Palmer lost against Grand Island Lutheran back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Lightning.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14.

Marlea Donahey paced Palmer's offense, picking up six kills. Donahey got some help from Kayden Tyan and her 13 assists.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Grand Island Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Palmer has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Giltner on the 11th. As for Grand Island Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Elba on the 11th.
