Softball Recap: Upperman Bees vs. Cannon County Lions

Upperman came out on top against Cannon County on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Bees walked away with a 7-3 win over the Lions. This was a revenge game for the Bees: when they faced off against the Lions back in March, they had to take a 9-7 loss.

Leah Hensley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Maddie Tinch was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Lyza Wilken was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
