Volleyball Game Preview: San Lorenzo Grizzlies vs. Tennyson Lancers

After both having extra time off, the San Lorenzo Grizzlies and the Tennyson Lancers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for San Lorenzo and 19 for Tennyson dating back to last season.

San Lorenzo lost 3-0 to Arroyo last Friday.

Meanwhile, Tennyson came up short against Encinal on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

While Tennyson had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.

San Lorenzo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Tennyson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything went San Lorenzo's way against Tennyson when the teams last played back in March, as San Lorenzo made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Grizzlies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
