Football Game Recap: Yellville-Summit vs. Salem

Salem won the last time they faced Yellville-Summit, and things went their way on Friday, too. Salem steamrollered Yellville-Summit 52-6. The success made it back-to-back wins for Salem.

Salem's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 38 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Yellville-Summit couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 38-0 heading into the break. The Salem defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 6 and all but finishing the game. The win bumped their record up to 2-0. The loss dropped Yellville-Summit back to even at 1-1.

Salem will look to defend their home turf next week against Walnut Ridge at 7:00 PM. As for Yellville-Summit, they will face off against Berryville.
