Buckeye was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against North Olmsted on Monday. The Bucks put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 8-2 win. Considering the Bucks have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Buckeye is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for North Olmsted, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buckeye will head out to challenge Rocky River at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Bucks surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Olmsted, they will head out on the road to face off against Normandy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Invaders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
