Volleyball Game Preview: Viburnum Blue Jays vs. Belle Tigers

The Viburnum Blue Jays will challenge the Belle Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Viburnum lost 3-0 to Valley on Friday. The Blue Jays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Viburnum ultimately came up short, they really made Valley work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-20, 25-22.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Belle took on Linn on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11, 25-13.

Viburnum's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Belle, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1.
