Basketball Game Preview: Ada Bulldogs vs. Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds

The Ada Bulldogs will head out to challenge the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Ada easily dispatched North Baltimore on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Ada fell just short of Temple Christian by a score of 51-49 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Lima Central Catholic ended up a good deal behind Lima Senior on Saturday and lost 92-75. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Spartans are ranked 17th).

Ada's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Lima Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Ada might still be hurting after the 53-30 loss they got from Lima Central Catholic when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Ada avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
