Bellevue skates past Mendon with ease

Recap: Bellevue Broncos vs. Mendon Hornets

The Bellevue Broncos came tearing into Thursday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mendon 89-34 at home. Bellevue has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 25 points or more this season.

Mendon lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Owen Gorham, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Gorham is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryder Gorham, who scored eight points along with two steals.

Bellevue pushed their record up to 10-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.3 points per game. As for Mendon, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Bellevue will play host again and welcome Martin, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mendon, they will head out on the road to take on Eau Claire at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
