Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Benjamin Davis). They blew past the Nimitz Cougars 16-8 on Tuesday. With that  win, the Falcons brought their scoring average up to 6.7  runs per game.
 Adan Ramirez made a splash no matter where he played. He  struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   three  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  doubles.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Devin Simth, who  fired off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while going 4-for-4. Those  four  hits gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Jackson Taylor, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
