Volleyball Recap: Franklin Central Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hamilton Southeastern, Franklin Central was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the East Central Trojans 2-1. The Flashes haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Brenna Storz paced Franklin Central's offense, picking up nine kills. Storz got some help from Emily Williams and her 26 assists. Katie Bailey controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Franklin Central's record now sits at 18-9. As for East Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-8 record this season.

Franklin Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Homestead on the 11th. As for East Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Lawrence North on the 11th.
