Bleckley County never let their opponents score on Friday. They claimed a resounding 50-0 victory over the Jefferson County Warriors. The Royals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 22 points or more this season.

Bleckley County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brody Fleming out in front who threw for 147 yards and four TDs on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 56 yards. Those 56 rushing yards gave Fleming a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Connor Cairney, who picked up 63 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Bleckley County's defense and their eight sacks. It was truly a group effort as Malachi Ates, Willy Walters, and Landry Nobles picked up two apiece.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Bleckley County, bringing their record up to 5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.5 points on average over those games. As for Jefferson County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Bleckley County will look to defend their home field on Friday against Northeast at 7:30 p.m. The Raiders' defense has only allowed 6.8 points per game this season, so the Royals' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Jefferson County, they will head out to square off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will be up against the Chargers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
