It's playoff time, and Homestead had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 26-6 margin over the Boyd Anderson Cobras on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Broncos, who have now won six matchups in a row.

Homestead's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jerniyah Fowles, who threw for 211 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.1% of her passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Zakieria Cobb helped Fowles out on the ground, rushing for 87 yards and one TD on only 12 carries, while also picking up 33 receiving yards.

Homestead's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games. As for Boyd Anderson, their loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Homestead is taking a road trip to challenge St. Thomas Aquinas at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders' defense has only allowed 3.9 points per game this season, so the Broncos' offense will have their work cut out for them. Boyd Anderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
