Basketball Recap: Cleveland Clippers vs. New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds
Cleveland lost against New Ulm Cathedral back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cleveland Clippers fell to the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds 56-51. The Clippers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Ulm Cathedral to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joe Gillis, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. That's the most rebounds Gillis has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jake Finstad, who posted 14 points and five steals.
Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for New Ulm Cathedral, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.
