Volleyball Recap: Newington's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Newington took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Conard, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Nor'easters had just enough and edged out the Red Wolves 1-0. The win was nothing new for the Nor'easters as they're now sitting on three straight.

Nate Parlapiano paced Newington's offense, picking up six kills. Parlapiano got some help from Tristan Gorman and his six assists.

Newington's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Newington has already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Maloney on the 5th. As for Conard, they will face off against New Britain at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
