After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Miami Beach, Northwestern was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

While Northwestern won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 26-24.

Northwestern is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Booker T. Washington, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwestern will welcome North Miami at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bulls surely won't give up without a fight. As for Booker T. Washington, they will host Mourning at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
