Basketball Recap: Sean Jones' Big Game Can't Quite Lead NSU University over Seminole

NSU University's tournament run continued when they took on Seminole on Sunday. The NSU University Sharks fell 68-58 to the Seminole Warhawks. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Sharks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sean Jones, who went 11 for 19 on his way to 25 points. Danny Malamud was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

NSU University now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Seminole, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. NSU University will be taking part in a tournament against Pine Ridge at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Seminole, they will look to defend their home court on January 7, 2025 against Countryside at 7:30 p.m.
