Marlee Flanigan posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
