Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Granbury). They put the hurt on the Saginaw Rough Riders with a sharp 4-1 win on Monday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Pirates' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Granbury is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. Saginaw's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granbury will venture away from home to take on Azle at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Azle's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Saginaw, they will challenge Brewer at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
