Football Recap: Harrold Hornets vs. Rule Bobcats
A victory for Harrold just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They had to suffer through a 67-22 loss at the hands of the Rule Bobcats. Rule had a senior duo take command as Kyleik Mason gained 314 total yards and five touchdowns and Frankie Olivera rushed for 153 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. With that strong performance, Mason is now averaging an impressive 108.4 rushing yards per game. Colton Blair got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Harrold now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Rule, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrold will square off against Chillicothe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rule, they will take on Aspermont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
