            Softball Recap: Hayden Wildcats vs. Springville Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            The home team had come away the winner the last three times Hayden and Springville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Hayden Wildcats fell just short of the Springville Tigers by a score of  4-3 on Tuesday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in May of 2024.
  Halie Pavolini made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and two  RBI.

With the  defeat, Hayden broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-13. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Springville, the  win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hayden will square off against West Point at 5:00  p.m.  on March 18th. As for Springville, they will take on Ragland at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Springville's pitching crew has only allowed 1.5  runs per game  this season, so Ragland's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
