It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Calvary Christian had no problem doing just that  on Thursday. They came out on top against the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers by a score of  3-1. The Warriors are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 17 straight.
 Sam Karjala paced Calvary Christian's offense, picking up 18 kills. Karjala got some help from  Noelle Sarigumba and her 38 assists. Finally,  Karjala was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.
Calvary Christian's record now sits at 26-1. As for Berkeley Prep, they moved to 13-10 with that  loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
As of now, neither Calvary Christian nor the Buccaneers have any future games scheduled.
