Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crete). They put the hurt on the Beatrice Orangemen with a sharp 6-0 victory on Monday. With that win, Crete brought their scoring average up to 2.9 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Beatrice from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Baltazar Adame Vasquez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Crete's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Beatrice, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
