The South Kitsap Wolves are taking a road trip to take on the Spanaway Lake Sentinels at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Kitsap is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Last Monday, South Kitsap came up short against Olympia and fell 9-6. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Ronan Byrd made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Those doubles marked the first that she hit this season.

Meanwhile, Spanaway Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 34-4 to Yelm.

South Kitsap now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Spanaway Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
