Basketball Recap: Nashon Mann's Big Game Can't Quite Lead GVCS Broadfording over Faith Christian

GVCS Broadfording suffered their closest defeat since November 26, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Faith Christian Patriots by a score of 54-51. The Lions' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

GVCS Broadfording's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nashon Mann, who went 6-for-11 en route to 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. That's the most steals Mann has posted since back in March of 2024. Fernando Garcia was another key player, shooting 46% from the field on his way to 14 points and three steals.

GVCS Broadfording's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Faith Christian, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

As of now, neither GVCS Broadfording nor Faith Christian have any future games scheduled.
