West Valley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Galena Hawks. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 1-0 win on Friday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was West Valley who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18.

West Valley's victory bumped their record up to 15-25-3. As for Galena, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
