Softball Recap: Nazareth Area Wins Going Away Against Pleasant Valley

Nazareth Area never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past the Pleasant Valley Bears 15-0. The win continues a trend for the Blue Eagles in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won seven in a row.

Not much got past Kylie Grover, who gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks to keep Pleasant Valley off the board. Grover has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Nazareth Area got a massive performance out of Makayla Ork, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3. Shauna McNamee also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Nazareth Area always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pleasant Valley only posted an OBP of .227.

Nazareth Area's record now sits at 9-2. As for Pleasant Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
