Basketball Recap: Combine Academy National Gets the Win

Combine Academy National posted their closest victory since December 10, 2024 on Monday. They skirted past the Whitmer Panthers 67-64. Given the Goats' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked second in North Carolina, while the Panthers are ranked 70th in Ohio), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Combine Academy National is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for Whitmer, they moved to 9-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Combine Academy National will host Bull City Prep National at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th. As for Whitmer, they will head out on the road to challenge Richmond Heights at 6:45 p.m. on January 27th.
