Recap: Olympia Spartans vs. Greenville Comets
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Olympia Spartans walked away with it. They blew past Greenville 40-20. Considering Olympia has won seven matches by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Zach E Keedy had a dynamite game for Olympia, rushing for 223 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry, and also throwing for 46 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. E Keedy was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards.
Olympia is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Greenville, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-1.
Olympia will square off against Roxana at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Roxana sitting on 11 straight victories and Olympia on five. Greenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
