Soccer Game Preview: Wethersfield vs. East Lyme

The Wethersfield Eagles will face off against the East Lyme Vikings on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Wethersfield barely beat Rocky Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles never let the Terriers get on the board and left with a 6-0 win two weeks ago. The result was nothing new for Wethersfield, who have now won four contests by six goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only East Lyme walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Trailbazers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for East Lyme as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Wethersfield now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for East Lyme, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7-2.
