Football Game Preview: Central Cobras vs. Okeechobee Brahmans

The Central Cobras will face off against the Okeechobee Brahmans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Central's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while Okeechobee has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Central is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Florida's top teams: Western, who was ranked eighth at the time (Central was ranked fifth). The Cobras put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 27-6 victory on Friday. Considering the Cobras have won ten contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Okeechobee's offense. They fell 7-0 to Pahokee on Monday.

Okeechobee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 13-1.

Everything came up roses for Central against Okeechobee when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 40-6 victory. In that game, the Cobras amassed a halftime lead of 34-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
