Baseball Recap: Johnsburg Comes Up Short

Johnsburg lost against Jacobs back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Johnsburg Skyhawks fell just short of the Jacobs Golden Eagles by a score of 3-2.

Riley Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Landon Johnson, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Johnsburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Johnsburg will challenge Central at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Jacobs, they will venture away from home to square off against Barrington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
