Norcross (Ga.) snapped the five-game winning streak of
Collins Hill (Suwanee, Ga.), with a 28-0 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
A.j. Bush to
Chris Herndon in the first quarter, the Blue Devils were up 21-0 at the half.
Led by
Lorenzo Carter, Norcross entered the contest giving up 19.5 points per game this year.
The defeat comes as a step back for Collins Hill, who notched a 35-28 victory over Peachtree Ridge in its previous outing. With the win NHS extended its winning streak to four games.
Norcross (5-2) goes up against Mountain View in a AAAAAA Region 7 game matchup next week, while Collins Hill (5-1) locks horns with Meadowcreek also in a AAAAAA Region 7 game.
