Basketball Game Preview: Sunset Knights vs. Archimedean

The Sunset Knights will square off against Archimedean at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunset is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.8 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Sunset ended up a good deal behind TERRA Environmental and lost 71-52. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sunset's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jonathan Clarke, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards, and Brandon Luis, who went 7 of 16 en route to 18 points. That was a full 34.6% of Sunset's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Meanwhile, Archimedean came into Monday's match having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They strolled past Greater Miami Academy with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 54-38. Archimedean's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Archimedean's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Sunset, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
