Soccer Recap: Grant Community Has No Trouble Against North Chicago

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Johnsburg, Grant Community was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the North Chicago Warhawks with a sharp 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Grant Community, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting North Chicago from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ryan Kadlec led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Grant Community moved to 4-8-1 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for North Chicago, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Grant Community is set to square off against their familiar foe Antioch at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Chicago will take on rival Grayslake Central at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
