Softball Game Preview: Sudan Hornets vs. West Texas Comanches

The Sudan Hornets will face off against the West Texas Comanches at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Sudan is headed into the match having just posted their closest win since March 5, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Dimmitt 4-2.

The team relied heavily on Daniella Ramirez, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, West Texas sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over Dalhart on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Comanches.

Sudan's victory bumped their record up to 3-4-1. As for West Texas, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
