Basketball Recap: Columbia Adventist Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Washington School for the Deaf last Thursday, Columbia Adventist Academy came back down to earth. The Columbia Adventist Academy Kodiaks had to suffer through a 57-16 loss at the hands of the King's Way Christian Knights. The game marked the Kodiaks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Columbia Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for King's Way Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia Adventist Academy will venture away from home to challenge Three Rivers Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia Adventist Academy is facing Three Rivers Christian at the right time seeing as Three Rivers Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. King's Way Christian will take on Columbia in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. King's Way Christian's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so Columbia's offense will have their work cut out for them.
