Softball Recap: Smidt Tech Has No Trouble Against ESAT

Smidt Tech made up a huge gap compared to their last game against ESAT, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Grey Wolves were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Grizzlies on Wednesday. The Grey Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Smidt Tech and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for ESAT, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Smidt Tech will venture away from home to take on Los Angeles Leadership Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for ESAT, they will head out to face off against CALS Early College at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
