Softball Recap: Delta Takes a Loss

Delta was the 8-6 winner over Homer when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell 11-6 to the Mariners on Thursday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Delta now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Homer, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Looking ahead, Delta will square off against North Pole at 3:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Homer, they will face off against Soldotna at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. The Mariners' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Stars have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season.
