Mount View had won seven straight road games and Shiann Carter did her part to make it eight on Monday. The Golden Knights walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders thanks in part to Carter, who had 23 digs and nine aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The final score came out to 25-17, 20-25, 25-16, 25-16.

Mount View's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malayah Barnes, who hit 70% for seven kills and nine digs and three aces. Those 70% hitting percentage gave Barnes a new career-high.

Mount View's record is now 22-1. As for Greater Beckley Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15-1.
