Basketball Recap: Paetow's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but Paetow unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 60-52 to the Jordan Warriors. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Jaden Holt was his usual excellent self, going 9 of 15 en route to 38 points for Jordan. Holt's morning made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rayan Fadika, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds.

Paetow's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Jordan, they pushed their record up to 21-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Tompkins the next time they take the court. Jordan will head out to face Tompkins at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Paetow will host them at 11:30 a.m. on January 11th.
