Volleyball Game Preview: Sycamore Aviators vs. Badin Rams

The Sycamore Aviators will square off against the Badin Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Badin took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Sycamore, who comes in off a win.

Sycamore took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Fairfield as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Sycamore never let Fairfield on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 25-21.

Sycamore's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Lainey Tilton, who had 22 digs and three assists, and Lucy Bell, who had four digs and two aces. That's the most aces Bell has posted over her last six matches.

Meanwhile, Badin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Summit Country Day, falling 3-0.

Sycamore's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Badin, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.
