Softball Recap: Claude Comes Up Short

The Claude Mustangs came up short against the Highland Park Hornets on Thursday, falling 21-14. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Claude's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Highland Park, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Claude will square off against Gruver at 4:00 p.m. on March 28th. As for Highland Park, they will face off against Sanford-Fritch at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Highland Park is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
