As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cooper has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brylee Fly, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.
Isabel Garcia was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds for Cookeville. Another player making a difference was Cara Lee Gilbert, who scored 15 points.
Wilson Central's loss dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Cookeville, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 24-3.
Wilson Central is on the road again on Monday and plays Stewarts Creek at 6:00 p.m. on February 19th. Wilson Central is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51.1 points per game this season. As for Cookeville, they will take on Lebanon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cookeville is coming into the game with five straight victories on the road, so Lebanon will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
