Trinity Christian faced Clarkston in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Lions had just enough and edged out the Angoras 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on four straight.

Trinity Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Clarkston, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

After both having extra time off, Trinity Christian and Sprayberry will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on May 6. As for Clarkston, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against St. Pius X Catholic on the 22nd.
