Volleyball Game Preview: Hibriten Panthers vs. Draughn Wildcats

Hibriten hasn't had much luck against Draughn recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Hibriten came up short against Chase and fell 3-1.

While Hibriten ultimately came up short, they really made Chase work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 20-25, 26-24, 25-16.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Draughn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over East Rutherford on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won eight in a row.

Draughn had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-19, 25-18, 25-18.

Hibriten better keep an eye on Macy Auton. She was instrumental in Draughn's win, getting 23 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Auton has posted since back in August.

Draughn's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Hibriten, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.
