Volleyball Game Preview: Plainfield South Cougars vs. Glenbard West Hilltoppers

The Plainfield South Cougars will face off against the Glenbard West Hilltoppers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Plainfield South comes in on five and Glenbard West on three.

Plainfield South is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past Benet Academy 2-1.

Meanwhile, Glenbard West earned a 2-0 victory over Neuqua Valley on Saturday.

Glenbard West easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16.

Glenbard West's win bumped their record up to 33-5. As for Plainfield South, their victory bumped their record up to 25-13.

Plainfield South came up short against Glenbard West in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
