Baseball Recap: Living Word Lutheran Victorious

Living Word Lutheran lost to Johnson Creek back in June of 2015, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Timberwolves came out on top against the Bluejays by a score of 12-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Timberwolves.

Easton Oliver made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gavin LaPerriere, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. He also scored three runs, which is notable because Living Word Lutheran is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-4 otherwise.
